So when the client says,
I need a new logo, website, or video.
Respond with :
I think I can help, but first, tell me more about why. What business objective are you trying to solve?
Listen, then write what they say down.
Follow up with :
a. What’s getting in the way with this?
b. What obstacles need to be overcome?
Write those down.
Playback and summarize the next steps.
It sounds like
You are unhappy with your existing site. There’s a high bounce rate (75%) and the time on the page is low (5 sec)
You want fresh ideas to improve the “writing, design, and user flow” which you estimate could increase revenue by $100k.
Is that right?
If this can be solved in 4 weeks, you’re willing to invest $25k.
If you get a credible proposal by Wednesday, you’re ready to make a decision by Monday.
